Have you heard about eyelash extensions? They are applied to individual lashes (one by one) which adhere to your natural lash and not only extend the length, but also provide thickness and curl.
How long do they last?
Touch ups are recommended every 3 weeks. Some lashes may last longer, depending your individual hair growth cycle.
You will need to schedule your appointment every 3 weeks for fill-ins to avoid gaps in your lash line.
How do I prep for my first set and fill in appointments?
Shower before you arrive and be sure your lashes and makeup has been completely cleaned off. Use an OIL-FREE makeup remover. Using an alternate product will break down the adhesive bond of your new lashes and they will not cure properly.
Discontinue use of waterproof mascara 2 days prior to your appointment. The oils in waterproof mascara will impede the bond of your new lashes.
Arrive relaxed and ready to lay on your back at a delicate incline for 1-3 hours. (Please note: time will vary depending on complexity of service and detail of work needed for touch-ups and/or initial service).
Candidates which are NOT recommended for this service are:
If you have a habit of touching or rubbing your eyes frequently
If you have highly sensitive skin or have allergies, or exhibit signs of an eye-related infection as evidenced by inflammation, redness, swelling, itching, burning or crustiness
If you are allergic to acrylates or cyanoacrylates
If you recently (within the last week) had a chemical peel
If you are a competitive swimmer and must practice everyday
If your natural lashes are overly curly and/or brittle
Aftercare Instructions:
Do not shower, steam, sauna, moisten, or wet your eyes for 48 hours. Carefully blot around your extensions with an OIL FREE makeup remover.
Do not rub your new lashes. This may cause breakage and break down the adhesive bond quicker.
Avoid sleeping on your side. Try to sleep on your back for the first 48 hours.
Do not use an eyelash curler. This will crease your lashes and break the adhesive bond.
Do not use an oil-based eye or makeup remover. Be sure your product clearly reads "OIL-FREE."
Do not use over-the counter mascara. We have specially-formulated mascara for you to purchase which are extension-friendly and perfect in-between touch-up appointments.
